Meet Our Founder
Ceara Chambers
Our founder, Ceara Chambers, has been an athlete for over 25 years and found going to the gym monotonous since she was also a track & field athlete in school and needed a new way to stay active. She took her first mat class in Richmond, VA, and fell in love with the experience, practicing reformer and mat Pilates for over ten years. After moving to Washington, DC, she continued to enjoy Pilates and believed the instructors were knowledgeable and wise, but noticed a lack of diversity in her local area. Pilates meant more to her than fitness; it allowed her to channel all the stress from her mental health issues and apply all of her energy to her class sessions. After leaving the classes, she felt an immediate sense of relief and wanted others who looked just like her to gain the same benefits she found so important. Ceara, who is a certified Pilates instructor, loves uplifting kings and queens by providing motivation, confidence, support, and excitement. FOUR was created to embody all the principles she believes in and to guide an array of individuals on body awareness.

Trained at Kelly Kane’s School at Kinected in New York, Meghan integrates her background in dance, choreography, and anatomy to craft dynamic, supportive classes. She believes Pilates should be both energizing and restorative, helping clients build strength, awareness, and confidence in every session.
Mikayla
With a strong science background and a passion for movement, Mikayla discovered Mat Pilates as a powerful way to decompress and reconnect with her body. What began as a personal stress-relief practice quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit of wellness and teaching.
Mikayla lives an active lifestyle rooted in balance, vitality, and inclusivity. She continuously seeks out opportunities to grow her knowledge and sharpen her craft—whether that means learning new techniques, exploring innovative wellness tools, or staying up to date on the latest research in movement science.
Inspired by the wisdom of Pilates elder Kathy Grant, Mikayla often reminds herself: “Patience is the art of waiting. Not just waiting, but how you act while you’re waiting.” This quote reflects her approach to movement and life—intentional, empowering, and deeply mindful.
Driven by a mission of “Wellness for ALL,” Mikayla brings passion, energy, and authenticity to every session. Her approach is encouraging and inclusive, whether you’re new to Pilates or deep in your practice. She’s known for creating a welcoming environment where clients feel empowered and supported on their personal wellness journeys.
