Meet Our Founder
Ceara Chambers
Our founder, Ceara Chambers, has been an athlete for over 25 years and found going to the gym monotonous since she was also a track & field athlete in school and needed a new way to stay active. She took her first mat class in Richmond, VA, and fell in love with the experience, practicing reformer and mat Pilates for over ten years. After moving to Washington, DC, she continued to enjoy Pilates and believed the instructors were knowledgeable and wise, but noticed a lack of diversity in her local area. Pilates meant more to her than fitness; it allowed her to channel all the stress from her mental health issues and apply all of her energy to her class sessions. After leaving the classes, she felt an immediate sense of relief and wanted others who looked just like her to gain the same benefits she found so important. Ceara, who is a certified Pilates instructor, loves uplifting kings and queens by providing motivation, confidence, support, and excitement. FOUR was created to embody all the principles she believes in and to guide an array of individuals on body awareness.

Jennifer Getz
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jennifer Gallegos has been moving with purpose since childhood. She fell in love with ballet at just five years old and carried that passion through college, where she had her first encounter with Pilates mat work. Instantly captivated by its precision and control, she felt a transformative boost in strength and stability after only a few sessions. While studying physical therapy, she explored Pilates equipment, but it wasn’t until she planted roots in DC that she fully embraced teacher training.
Jennifer is passionate about helping people move smarter, not harder. She specializes in guiding beginners, those recovering from injuries, hypermobile clients, and performers, empowering them to build strength and confidence. With a knack for blending movement with education, she infuses her sessions with a touch of anatomy and Pilates history, making every class both engaging and insightful.
